Once upon a time there was a girl called JC. Very 'type A', perfectly tiny, un-apologetically Yankee opinionated and wicked smart, JC knew how things worked.
Along came a new girl on the block - JC other. Very 'type B', all hips and thighs, Yankee born but Southern raised, charming but result driven, JC other knew how to get her way.
Did I mention that both girls were extremely stylish? Brains bursting to full with thoughts of art, architecture, fashion, literature and travel brought commonalities among them. When JC met JC, the story progressed . . . neighbors . . . friends. . . business partners. Let's just say that JC type A, plus JC type B make a finely balanced team. The result? Take2 modern.repurposed.design. As the JCs suspected all along, two is better than one! This theory can be seen in everything Take2 designs: 2 eras - mix modern and vintage styles, 2 fabric weights - mix wool with cotton/linen/silk, 2 lives - repurpose something to make something else, 2 uses - use something in a new way, as in 'second time around', and finally, 2 viewpoints from 2 JCs.
